In the spring of 2023, we recognized a need that had long been overlooked by athletic administrators:
“The importance of providing a consistent and repeatable sports entertainment audio experience for every student athlete, regardless of their level of play, sport popularity, or gender, at our high school athletic events.”
Challenges such as simultaneous games, low attendance, limited professional announcers, and the desire for a memorable atmosphere for every program's athletic event led us to establish Mic'dUp,LLC.
Mic'd Up Network
Central to our mission is the Mic'd Up Network, an assembly of announcers from the NCAA, NBA, WNBA, MLB, MiLB, and NHL.
This network boasts the largest selection of professional announcers available in the market. We specialize in professional development, management, and the delivery of top-tier public address announcing services for interscholastic athletic programs and their administrators.
By harnessing the expertise and voices of our Mic'd Up Network, we ensure a professional, reliable, and consistent audio experience for the athletic program. Coupled with cutting-edge gameday technology, we aim to provide an unparalleled solution for administrators and student athletes alike. Our latest innovation, the Virtual Announcer, is designed to fulfill the dream of providing every student athlete with the Game7 experience by delivering memorable moments via Gameday audio while reducing stress for administrators and saving money in the process. It's a win-win solution for all involved especially the student athlete.
Aaron Pitman
Originally from Indianapolis, Aaron Pitman is the Founder of Mic’d Up, LLC and the Virtual Announcer program. Aaron has a wide range of experience of professional level sporting events, including being the voice of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils and USA Volleyball. Collegiately, Aaron has voiced events at Auburn University, The Ohio State University, Bellarmine University, the University of Indianapolis, Marian University, Butler University and Simmons College. At the high school level, Aaron serves as the voice of numerous schools throughout the country, including Carmel High School (IN), Ben Davis High School (IN), North Central High School (IN) and Pendleton Heights High School (IN). Additionally, Aaron has voiced events for the Indiana High School Athletic Association, Kentucky High School Athletic Association, Indiana Percussion Association, Indiana High School Color Guard Association, the Carmel Marathon, and has been asked to serve in a role as backup voice for the NBA’s Indiana Pacers.
Aaron married his best friend, Tiffany in August 2020, and resides in Westfield, IN with their daughter, Payton and black lab, Max.
Jake Hinson
Jake Hinson, an Indiana native, is the Chief Executive Officer of Mic’d Up, LLC. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Anderson University and is a graduate of the University of Michigan. With a background in high school and AAU basketball coaching at schools such as Zionsville Community High School, Alexandria Monroe High School, and Marion High School, Jake has also founded a program for high school athletes in Indiana. He has contributed to various community organizations as a Board member.
Jake resides in Westfield, IN, with his longtime girlfriend and dog.
